When Shannon asked me to photograph her head shot for her new business venture, I was thrilled! She is going back in to real estate and I know she will be a huge success! Not only is she just gorgeous, but she is one of the sweetest and most trustworthy people I know!

I wish you only the best, Shannon! Thank you for allowing me to be your photographer!

Rosa: What?! We have to stop listening to Christmas music after Christmas is over?! I didn't get that memo...I try to strtceh it out until at least March...then I take a break for a while and crack it out again in August. I'm such a dork. I have exactly what info I want. Check, please. Wait, it's free? Awesome!

This session was a lot of fun! I always love an urban outing! I know the guys aren’t always up for a photo session, but hopefully this one was mostly painless! He had to endure my dorky sense of humor, but I didn’t make him do anything too ridiculous!

This young man is almost 21 and never did senior portraits, so I know mom is really happy now that the photos are done!

He’s very easy on the eyes and the camera loves him, so hopefully you all will enjoy your sneak peek!

Sophie Crew: Handsome guy! I love the location and compositions - great job!

Megan: What an awesome shoot and location! That closeup of him with the blue background is... WOW!!!

Holly: These are great! My fav is the last one!

Kelli: Love these! Great job!

Rose: He's got gorgeous eyes! Love these!

Jennifer Lauren: Awesome images and such a great looking guy! That location is perfection.

Elle: Oh wow! Love your compositions and his eyes - amazing!

Evelyn: Great shots!! Looks like a lot of fun!

Jen Stafford: Awesome! Love the location, and the images are terrific ;)

Amy: What a great session! I love these and I am sure he and his mom will too. Such a great location.

Jen Mahoney: What fun, unique images of this handsome guy! He must love them!

Tori Piercy: He is so handsome! I am loving that location and love all the variety you captured! Great job!

Jane Eaton Hamilton: Great job with these. Mom will be so pleased to have them, esp as he never got senior pix!

robyn: Love this location for a senior guy - great job. Love the image of him with the hook.

bailey: Very cool stuff! Location is awesome!

These ladies came to me for some headshots for their business. They wanted something a little more modern than the traditional headshot. I thought a crisp, white background would do just the thing! But wow, look how gorgeous they are? The best part is that they are sisters! How cool that two sisters who not only grew up together, could also run a business together (and still love each other)? I love it!

Anyway, here is your sneak peek, ladies! You are both just too stunning for words and so photogenic! I hope you like what you see so far.

Renette: Wow! Robbie, Did you do these at your house? Teach me!! Teach me!! :)

Amy: Thank you Robbie, what sharp photos! I love the look and vibe, you hit the nail on the head. What a gift you have been given! Can't wait to see the full gallery :-)

Gabriel: I love those ideas - maybe a "seasonal" bento theme based on the summer that only inudcles seasonal food or alternatives to egg-sheets and such? I would love to see a totally vegan theme, as well! ^.~

Jane: I gave up on ever finding flubenvet and instead got pellets with it already in. Seems to have worked fine and iniefitnly less hassle than all the mixing etc.

Spor!

This engagement session was so FUN! Sarah and Jimmy are just so HAPPY to be getting married! They adore each other and it totally shows! I had a blast with them today and can’t wait to shoot the upcoming wedding!

Thank you guys so MUCH for allowing me into this special time of your lives!

Paul: Have fun, Eric. I've always enjeyod San Diego, even if mostly what I've seen is the Convention Centre designed by a Vancouverite, by the way ;) and a bit of the Gaslamp District. Also, the weather is milder than some other parts of California, especially if you're by the water. It's a joy to find someone who can think like that I have exactly what info I want. Check, please. Wait, it's free? Awesome! I had no idea how to approach this before-now I'm locked and loaded.

I mean seriously, a guy really can’t get much cooler than this. When Malachi asked me to do some commercial photography for his marketing business, I tried not to get too excited and jump up and down like a dork. He offers total marketing packages to businesses and has so many great tools to offer. You can see his site here but you just need to call him to get the full picture of what he offers his clients. To say it was a privilege to do this shoot is really an understatement. He is a genuinely awesome and relatable guy and his excitement just rubs off on you. I did his family session as well and just love these people! Malachi – it was a BLAST and I loved every second! I hope you enjoy the preview – more to come!

And a big THANK YOU to my assistant, Helen (an up-and-coming photog herself), for the idea for this shot! Love it!

Cindy: What a totally cool session, these turned out so nice!

Paula: These are amazing!!! Love the locations and different perspectives you shot at!

Katie: Love your angles and lighting! He must be thrilled

Melissa: These are awesome. Totally fun with the lighting here - good job!

Mary: Wow, these are fabulous!!! You did a fantastic job!! Love them!

Connie: VERY cool! Really great job on these!

Melissa Rodriguez: Very cool! I love the angles and the lighting used - great shots!

Zoe Berkovic: Amazing images!! I love the light in these!! You rocked this sessions!!

Katie: He does ooze coolness! Such an awesome shoot! Seriously!

Kristy Lynn: Love it. And LOVE LOVE the bench shot! SO cool!

Jane Eaton Hamilton: I totally want to know this guy! Love what you did here. Love the bench one, esp.

Me Malachi: just my website has changed ... this was cool... I have plans for you!

Sheryl: Excellent blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring wreitrs? I'm hoping to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Many thanks!

I had so much fun with this group! ‘J’ just came home from Iraq and his wife scheduled a family session with me. She invited his 2 best friends and their families to come along as well. We had a lot of fun (minus the bees). Here is a sneak peek – I have a ton of images from this session so I’ll probably post more, but wanted to get a few up as quickly as possible!

And get this – the couple told me that their marriage proposal was ruined (didn’t explain how) and that he never got to propose to her properly. Even though they are already married, they asked me to capture a ‘proper’ marriage proposal. I was absolutely privileged to do so!!

Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be your photographer!!

And for those of you wondering about the new logo, I’ll post more details on that soon! 🙂

Welcome Home!

May 28, 2009

I had the wonderful privilage of photographing this young serviceman’s homecoming from his tour in Iraq. I am so proud of our servicemen and so soooo very thankful for the sacrifices they make to keep us all safe. I teared up as he was welcomed by his beautiful family. I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the entire place!

And who could resist this little guy? He is the Godson of our returning soldier and captivated everyone who saw him!

Thank you, ‘B’ family, for allowing me to share this moment with you! I look forward to seeing you again this weekend for our family session!
