Little G, I was told, kept calling this his ‘Happy Day’ and it was definitely that! He had an amazing safari themed party complete with REAL jungle animals (and creepy critters)! I can honestly say he had a VERY happy day! I was thrilled to be able to capture this event for this wonderful family – it is always a privilege to photograph them!
I had so much fun with this sweet family! The weather wasn’t as nice to us as I had hoped it would be, but still for January I couldn’t really complain!
‘B’ family, I hope you enjoy these so far! More to come soon!
I really can’t believe this crazy weather! It was almost 80 degrees on this beautiful fall day. I always love photographing this precious family and was so glad the weather and sunshine cooperated!
They wanted family images and a few of their youngest at ‘three years old’. I’ve been photographing her since before she was born (literally) so it’s just so hard to believe how big she is! And wow, have her big brothers grown up, too!
Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be your photographer! I hope you enjoy these so far…
Like my new look? I’m SO in love with it! I just felt like my old colors, red and black, were outdated and a little too masculine. I didn’t want it all completely girly and stuff, but I AM a girl and with a name like Robbie, people can assume…
I also wanted something cleaner. I’m still working on things, but it’s coming along, slowly! It’s put me behind some on blogging, but I’ll catch up soon! And in the meantime, I thought I’d share a few of my youngest.
I am now officially a Nikon shooter! It was a hard decision, but it just seems to suit my shooting style better for various reasons. Anyway, I took the camera out with my youngest to get some practice in with the new camera. The resulting images I just fell in love with, saggy diaper and all! He LOVES to play in the dirt so I really enjoyed documenting that. This is what being a photographer is all about. I need to do this WAY more often – life goes by too fast!
I am also playing with film looks. I LOVE film – love love love – but I’m too much of an instant gratification person to switch over to film (for now anyway). So, I am trying to achieve the look with processing. These were not processed in Photoshop, but in Lightroom only. I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts!
And some film b/w of the resulting bath that was needed after playing in the dirt!
Mr ‘G’ just turned 2 and so I was thrilled when ‘L’ asked me to photograph her beautiful family again this year!
It is always a pleasure and I’m to privileged to see these beautiful children grow up!!! I hope you enjoy these so far!
I always love it when these two come in for a session. We usually shoot on location but decided to do some studio shots this time. Baby ‘G’ wasn’t too thrilled about having to pose with his sister, either, but I did get a composite of the two together! Yeah, I got tricks up my sleeve!
And I know this is a large share – and I had to make myself stop adding more to the post. Sorry, ‘L’, but it will be hard to choose!
Here is the sibling shot! There is one more but I have to save some for the gallery!
This was so cute – he wanted to clean everything! It kept him happy so why not?
Little ‘A’ is a young lady now! I’ve been photographing her since she was a newborn! She has changed so much since her one year session, Mom wanted to get a few updated shots. We did a mini session, which can be a challenge at that age, but she was great! A little sass but a whole lot of fun, too!
Speaking of sass, I seriously can’t look at this without laughing out loud. She was not difficult during her session at all, but she just HAD to sneak in a little sass in there! Too funny!
Here are a few more….
Thank you, ‘S’, for allowing me to capture sweet ‘A’ again!
I have a new studio space and wanted to test some things out, so ‘A’ was kind enough to bring back baby ‘N’ for a few more shots. We also got some of her big sister, who just turned 2, in on a few as well! ‘B’ loves Princess and the Frog so her mom had an exact replica made of the gown! So gorgeous! She wasn’t too thrilled to be in it, though – she kept saying ‘OUT’ and pulling at the bodice. I did managed to get a few shots of her in it, though!
Here are a few of baby ‘N’…
And Miss ‘B’, or Miss Thang, as her mommy called her!
And although we were going for softer, more romantic setups, Miss ‘B’ was enchanted with the white Cyclorama wall. She thought it was her stage! So funny! So, I got a few with a white, high key setup for a completely different look.
Thank you, ‘A’, for coming out!! Hope you enjoy these so far!
I really enjoyed my time with this lovely family. And Miss M – wow just stunning! I’m having a hard time narrowing down the images from this session!
Thank you, ‘N’ Family, for allowing me to be your photographer! The rest are on the way since I’m so far behind on blogging!
