I was able to spend some more time with this lovely family since baby ‘O’ turned 1 yr old! His big bro, ‘J’, just turned 3 as well so I got some shots of the two of them. Aren’t they adorable?

Stephanie: Love these captures! And the red hair on those boys is fantastic!

joy: My sweet nephews! So beautiful. Thank you.

Jane Eaton Hamilton: So cute. They must be over the moon at that first one! Great job here.

christie provost: these are so much fun! what lovely little boys and i just adore the family images you captured. great job!

I so enjoyed my time with this lovely family! They have 3 boys, all about 2 yrs apart (if I remember correctly). They were so well behaved and we had so much fun exploring the park! And they let me get some shots in as well!

This sneak peek is way overdue - I’m very behind on blog updates! Although I cannot complain about my pregnancy as it’s been very easy, I am still not working at normal capacity, which has put me behind. I’m so thankful for my clients who have been so understanding!!! Thank you for being patient with me!!

Sweet ‘P’ family, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! Gallery will be up soon!

Got to meet up with this lovely family last week - 3 families and the grandparents! It was a gorgeous day but no wind so it was hot hot hot!

One of the families stayed behind for more shots and we moved to the top of the hill at the Victorian garden. Ah, so much better! There was a nice breeze there, which made all the difference!

Thank you, ‘S’ family, for thinking of me - it was great meeting all of the family!

blog741

I love this in black and white, too!

These were taken at the Victorian garden with the ‘S’ family. I’ve been photographing them since their youngest, little Miss ‘M’, was 3 months old! It was great to spend some time with them again!

blog7471

blog748

Now this little one, Miss ‘M’, is now 2 years old. And typical for that age, she was constantly on the move and very difficult to photograph, but oh so cute!

blog750

Now this young man was a ham and would pose for me every chance he got!

blog751

Another poser here!

blog754

And love this shot of mom and dad! It just screamed black and white…

blog752

And this shot has a story all its own. Miss ‘M’ wanted to use her brother’s heads as bongo drums. They just patiently let her bang away on their heads! What a riot! LOVE this shot!

blog753

Thanks again you guys! More to come soon!

I can’t believe how much ‘S’ has changed since I started photographing her at 4 months old! She has beautiful, auburn curls and such a sweet personality. Big brother, ‘D’, wanted to get in to the action as well so we got a few shots of him, but I must say he needs a session all his own. He was way too busy for my camera!

Here is a sneak peek! Thank you so much, Juli, for bringing your kiddos out and allowing me to have fun photographing them!

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I started photographing these girls! The 2 little ones are twins - born at 29 weeks - and such little miracles! And they sure love their big sis!

You can see how much they have grown by looking here and here.

I had a ton of fun yesterday with the ‘K’ family - thank you guys so much for allowing me to spend the afternoon with you!

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Look at this sweet little pout. Love it!

blog7051

Now there’s a smile!!

blog7041

Little ‘J’ was all about playing games - just don’t ask her to look at you, she’s too smart for that!

blog7061

blog702

And of course, here’s gorgeous big sis!

blog707

We had a ton of fun with our fruit ‘picnic’! The twins liked the apples! ‘B’ liked taking one bite, sucking the juice out, and spitting out the peel and little ‘J’ would taking one huge bite from an apple, throw it down, and get another one to bite in to! Big sis, ‘A’, liked the lemons! I’ve never seen anyone peel a lemon and eat it like an orange but she certainly did and never made one face! I’m seriously making a face just thinking about it!

There are many more favorites but I have to save some for the gallery. More to come soon!

Heidi | One Girl Photo: Love, love the light! And beautiful girls. :)

Ingrid: that is gorgeous! LOOOVE her red hair! So adorable! The first is my absolute favorite! Hope they print that in a huge canvas at least!

Jennifer: Wonderful pictures!! You were able to capture the beauty of all my girls!! Even my wild blond crazy one!! Thanks for your patience with all but mainly the one and you know who I am referring to!! Thanks again.

Merry Christmas!!

December 25, 2009

As our Christmas Day comes to a close, I’m so thankful for everything and everyone in my life, and most of all for the reason for the season. I can’t begin to tell you how much Jesus has done for me - and it’s just so wonderful that 2000 years after His birth, we are still honoring Him every year on this day. We give gifts to those we love and care about because our heavenly Father gave his son to us, as a gift, to save the world. Amazing.

I hope this post finds everyone safe and sound and OFF those nasty roads! We actually postponed our family Christmas for a few days just so we wouldn’t be traveling today. It’s been such a fun day watching the kids play with their new games and toys and playing with them (until they decide I’m too lame at video games to keep playing with me - and it’s sooo true, that I’m lame at video games that is!).

On that note, I thought I’d post a few of my fam!! The awesome Sarah Mansur of Sarah Mansur Photography did our family portraits this year. Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your talent with us! We are so greatful and love our images! And a big thank you to Stacy and Deemer, who allowed us to go to their ranch in Bixby to shoot on their amazing property! We had so much fun and just LOVED it out there!

We decided to do an extended family session and include my two sisters and my brother-in-law. We’ve never had a family portrait together and it was way overdue!

Since my oldest son ran far far away the first chance he got, Sarah didn’t get any individual shots of him, so before we left I made sure to get a few - this is one I just love! I know he’s not smiling, but sometimes those non-smiling shots are my favorites….

blog576

Merry Christmas and have a safe, and amazing New Year!!

Well, this sweet little guy is so big now! He is one of my baby planners but had colic and reflux so badly in the first few months, he didn’t have a 3 month session. So, now at almost 6 months old, I can’t believe how big he is! And I haven’t photographed big brother since he was one and now he’s 2 1/2! I so appreciate you guys coming out to get family portraits this year! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!
