A favorite client asked me to photograph her 5 year old’s birthday party! I had been wanting to make a trip back home anyway, so this was a real treat to be able to do this! And mom is quite the party planner – no detail was left out! Cake and cookies and candy, oh my! And Spotlite Party and Event Center really did an outstanding job of providing entertainment! There were inflatables, a clown, a minion, a magician, and an impressive balloon artist (no request too big or small)! I’m sure little ‘G’ will be talking about this for weeks!
Sometimes I don’t want to claim them, but truly they are the best boys I could ever hope for! The little one is almost 3 so I focused on him a little more this time. I really could only get about 30 minutes out of them anyway. It was really gorgeous for this time of year, but with no wind and high humidity it felt much warmer than it was! I love it that my kids aren’t the typical PK (photographer’s kids) and that they do so well for me! I would cry if I couldn’t photograph them!
I can’t believe it’s been a year already! It’s been such a pleasure watching this little guy grow up! He gets cuter every time I see him, too, and he has such a darling personality!
Sweet ‘R’ family, I hope you enjoy these so far! More to come soon!
And check out this darling chalkboard art that his mama did! So cute!
Little G, I was told, kept calling this his ‘Happy Day’ and it was definitely that! He had an amazing safari themed party complete with REAL jungle animals (and creepy critters)! I can honestly say he had a VERY happy day! I was thrilled to be able to capture this event for this wonderful family – it is always a privilege to photograph them!
I had so much fun with this sweet family! The weather wasn’t as nice to us as I had hoped it would be, but still for January I couldn’t really complain!
‘B’ family, I hope you enjoy these so far! More to come soon!
I really can’t believe this crazy weather! It was almost 80 degrees on this beautiful fall day. I always love photographing this precious family and was so glad the weather and sunshine cooperated!
They wanted family images and a few of their youngest at ‘three years old’. I’ve been photographing her since before she was born (literally) so it’s just so hard to believe how big she is! And wow, have her big brothers grown up, too!
Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be your photographer! I hope you enjoy these so far…
Like my new look? I’m SO in love with it! I just felt like my old colors, red and black, were outdated and a little too masculine. I didn’t want it all completely girly and stuff, but I AM a girl and with a name like Robbie, people can assume…
I also wanted something cleaner. I’m still working on things, but it’s coming along, slowly! It’s put me behind some on blogging, but I’ll catch up soon! And in the meantime, I thought I’d share a few of my youngest.
I am now officially a Nikon shooter! It was a hard decision, but it just seems to suit my shooting style better for various reasons. Anyway, I took the camera out with my youngest to get some practice in with the new camera. The resulting images I just fell in love with, saggy diaper and all! He LOVES to play in the dirt so I really enjoyed documenting that. 🙂 This is what being a photographer is all about. I need to do this WAY more often – life goes by too fast!
I am also playing with film looks. I LOVE film – love love love – but I’m too much of an instant gratification person to switch over to film (for now anyway). So, I am trying to achieve the look with processing. These were not processed in Photoshop, but in Lightroom only. I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts!
And some film b/w of the resulting bath that was needed after playing in the dirt! 🙂
Mr ‘G’ just turned 2 and so I was thrilled when ‘L’ asked me to photograph her beautiful family again this year!
It is always a pleasure and I’m to privileged to see these beautiful children grow up!!! I hope you enjoy these so far!
